G. K. Sarpong is an author and founder of Christian Thinkers Community (CTC), a multidimensional organisation headquartered in Accra, Ghana. Sarpong also writes for several media firms across the continent of Africa and a guest writer and editor for various international journals and newsletters including Light Magazine Africa, The Revolution Journal and Christian Thinkers Journal. Sarpong has authored over seven books and hundreds of articles, some of which include Entrepreneurship Africa, Develop the Master in You, Building Success and Answers to Life’s Foundational Questions.
The writer is a socialist who believes in a property owning democracy. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology and social work from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology (KNUST). He also holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Mountcrest University. He established an NGO, Honest Youth Organization, which he partnered with Vodafone Ghana foundation to organize a massive clean up exercise in the Upper West Region, where they also educated the residents of the community of the importance of keeping their environments clean. He has also worked in the US and England, where he is qualified to practise law. He completed his undergraduate studies in law at the University of Westminster, London and then a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice. He went on to Cornell Law School for his Master of Laws Degree. He has been called to bar in England & Wales, New York State and Ghana. He is a member of Ghana Bar Association, New York State Bar, Bar of England and Wales, The Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn and also the Global Shapers Community of the World Economic Forum (Accra Hub). He enjoys Music, Football (Arsenal FC), Basketball, Athletics, Modern Electronic Gadgets and Politics. He has a soft spot for consistency, honesty and strong moral values. He is a strong advocate for innovative solutions to local community problems. Regarding success he always says “There is always room at the top; you only need to work hard to get there”.
