Some African countries have top tourist destinations you should visit and the best part is you do not need a visa. There are a lot of African countries you can travel to but for most people the time consuming factor of going through the long process of acquiring a visa is uneccessary wahala. After reading, just share to all the travel freaks and thank me later with a gift from any of the African destinations you picked.

 

These wonderland visa-free countries provide the best picturesque beaches, amazing wildlife, serene getaways and the calming beauty of nature, luring people from all over the world.

1. SEYCHELLES

This tiny country is located East of Africa in the Indian Ocean. It is home to numerous beaches, coral reefs and nature reserves. Seychelles as an African travelling destination is basically holiday on Paradise Island. Rousing shorelines,  jaw dropping hotels close to the sea, white beach sand and green leafy trees will make your experience on the island a fascinating one. Seychelles is made up of an archipelago of 115 Islands. When it comes to hospitality, the islanders are noted and celebrated for that as they make their tourist feel right at home. 2. TANZANIA

Tantalizing Tanzania is also a visa-free country. Tanzania is an east African country noted for their vast wildernesses which include the plains of Serengeti National park where one could come across game like Elephants, Lions, Leopards, Buffalos and even rear white Rhinos. Amidst all the fun you are bound to experience, never forget to visit Kilimanjaro National Park as it is home to Africa’s highest Mountain (5,895 meters above see level). When it comes to traditional arts involving drums and choreographed dance, Rwanda will never leave you disappointed. Republic of Rwanda is in the African Great Lakes region and highly dominated by mountains. Sites one can visit to have the best Safari thrill are, Nyungue and Akagen national park, see a volcano at Volcanoes national park, tour Kigali city and see the sun set at Lake Kivu.  4. CAPE VERDE

Also known as Cabo Verde in Portuguese is a volcanic island surrounded by beaches and historical architectural buildings and a strong Creole-Portuguese culture.The archipelago of Cape Verde straddles the continent of Africa in the Atlantic Ocean. Santiango is the largest Island on Cape Verde located between Mayo and Fogo and its home to half of the nation’s population. Visit Cape Verde to enjoy the rich pre-historic African culture.

The list of visa-free countries doesn’t just end with my top four, all ECOWAS countries such as Benin, Burkina Faso, Cote d’ Ivoire, The Gambia, Guinea, Ghana, Guinea Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, and Togo are inclusive.

Other African countries which require no visa for persons wishing to travel include Botswana,  Zimbabwe, Uganda, Lesotho, Kenya, Malawi and Mauritius.

To note, these 25 visa-free countries are eligible for African citizens  only who belong to the above listed countries. So if your country is not in this list, then you would have to apply for a visa to visit these African countries.
